Mrs. America Pageant
2008
About Us
Mrs. America History

"MRS. AMERICA" is a unique primetime major network television special featuring the most
beautiful and accomplished married women of America. The 2008 pageant will originate
from the breath-taking Tucson Arizona at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort.  Each year,
delegates compete for the coveted crown.  Imitated but never duplicated, "MRS. AMERICA"
remains the first, and still the foremost competition for married women!  WE “the women’s
network” aired Mrs. World in March 2007 and Mrs. America telecast was initially aired on
WE on September 21, 2007. Check your local listings to see additional airings.

"MRS. AMERICA" is as American as the American Flag and Apple Pie!  It has been the only
nationally televised pageant for American married women. This renowned national
competition is devoted to emphasizing that America's 60 million married women are
extraordinarily beautiful, poised, articulate and versatile.

Each delegate earns the right to participate in the national event by winning her state or
district competition. These state pageants are under the direction of Mrs. America State
Directors, a network of respected and talented community and business leaders reflecting
one of the largest pageant systems in the world.  Their efforts over the past quarter of a
century continues as a year-long watershed effort to discover the most accomplished
married women qualified to compete for the esteemed title.

The winner of the coveted "MRS. AMERICA" crown will make personal appearances
throughout the country during her year's reign, speaking to and for our country's greatest
natural resource and most important constituency -- its married women.  The new "MRS.
AMERICA" may have the opportunity to represent the United States in the "MRS. WORLD
PAGEANT".
